About

Antony Pickthall is a British author, playwright, poet and screenwriter originally from West Sussex. Antony writes across an eclectic mix of genres including children's and literary fiction, horror and fantasy. Antony dreams of one day holding his own Oscar. Though he'll settle for a Like from Eric Idle, which has recently happened – so actually, that's a result.

Antony's theatre work includes All Heads Turn; Bath Party; Catch the Pigeon and The Stunning Flight of Archibald Bone. His screenwriting includes commissions for Channel 4/Granada and independent producer, David Wicht as well as collaborations with director, Ray Kilby. Antony published his debut short story collection in 2019, Stay With Me and is currently working on two Middle Grade novels.
